El Bronx

Lauren had a homework assignment to explore an area of the Bronx. Brian wanted to help and chose a place he hasn't visited since his LDS mission back in 1999- Parkchester.

(Following post written by Brian)

It hasn't changed much at all, but was fun to show Lauren a few of my favorite (or memorable) spots. One of those being Cross Bronx Pizza where the slices are about 3 times bigger than a typical slice anywhere else in NYC. As missionaries we often ate there before/after transfers because it was cheap and filling.

Right:  In front on the Olmstead chapel--the first ward I attended. It's been rebuilt and is now much bigger.
